Vive La Crepe on the Upper East Side

Vive La Crepe on the Upper East Side

We were walking on the Upper East Side and decided to have a quick bite when we stumbled upon Vive La Crepe on Lexington Avenue. I love crepes, so I was thinking, why not? They had an interesting menu, so we decided to try their ham and cheese crepe that I thought was decent, the crepe itself not being at the level of a good savory crepe to be honest (savory crepes are called galettes and are made with buckwheat, while sweet ones are made with flour). Jodi got their Amelie, made with goat cheese, mushrooms, spinach and pesto. This was ok, not having much filling in it. For dessert, I got a butter sugar crepe with halva that however was pretty good, the halva giving a bit of texture to it, and I think I would only stop by there for it. Not for the savory ones for sure…
